Congratulations to everyone who was baptized, confirmed, received, and reaffirmed during the Bishop's visitation on February 22. We are grateful to share in this milestone of your faith journey!

It was a meaningful First Sunday in Lent as the Rt. Rev. Jennifer Brooke-Davidson joined us to preach, celebrate, and lead our special worship service.  Learn more in our February 2026 Parish News.

On Wednesday evenings in Lent, The Church of the Good Shepherd will host a series of covered dish meals in Shepherd's Hall.

Join us for food, fellowship, and an opportunity to reflect on our shared journey through this Holy Season.

Beyond Our Doors Community Lunch

On the first Sunday of each month, CGS hosts a community lunch immediately following the 10:15AM service. This is sponsored by the Beyond Our Doors ministry team. If you'd like to get involved, please reach out to Gerard McNeill or call the church office. The BOD team welcomes opportunities to partner with like-minded organizations serving our neighbors in need.

​The Flower Guild

The parish's Flower Guild is made up of a dedicated team of volunteers who handle more than 80 percent of our Sunday services along with receptions, funerals, and special events like ordinations.

Evensong Service- join us on April 26

Thank you to everyone who attended the Evensong service at St. Michael's Episcopal Church on February 15.

The musical fellowship continues on Sunday, April 26, at 4:00 PM, when we welcome the Choir of St. Michael's here to the Church of the Good Shepherd. This special Evensong service will feature the combined choirs of both churches under the direction of Kevin Kerstetter, with Kirsten Homdrom at the organ.

Register NOW for VBS!

June 15-18 (Monday-Thursday), 9 AM – 12 Noon

For VBS this year, we will take the kids on a journey to Rome! We will visit Paul in the early days of the church. We might even go to a secret meeting room, as early Christians did.

A typical day will include storytelling, games, crafts, music and a snack.
