Good Shepherd
is blessed to have choirs and ensembles for all ages which enable us to enrich the worship of our God in Sunday services.
This allows us to explore, teach and celebrate the great heritage of music available to us as Episcopalians. You are invited to join in this vibrant ministry by participating in the choir or ensemble of your choosing.

CHANCEL CHOIR
Adults of all ages  who can read music and have choral experience are welcome to participate in this choir. The Chancel Choir provides music for the 10:15 a.m. Sunday service as well as Holy Day liturgies.   An informal audition is required in order to place choristers in sections and to give advice for work on individual vocal issues. This choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9 p.m.

YOUTH CHOIR
These choristers learn the fundamentals of choral singing and music reading skills.
They also explore the music and worship traditions of the Episcopal Church. All that is required is a love of singing, a willingness to participate in group activities and an availability to attend rehearsals and Sunday services.

Children and Youth in 3rd through 12th grade are welcome to participate in this choir. This choir rehearses at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons October through May. and sings approximately once each month at the 10:15 a.m. worship service as well as the Lessons and Carols service and the Christmas Pageant.

CHILDREN'S CHAPEL CHOIR
This choir is a part of our year round Children’s Chapel program for young children ages 4-7. The Chapel program alternates between “Godly Play” and Children’s Chapel Choir. This choir sings approximately six times throughout the year in our 10:15 a.m. worship service.

For more information, please contact Jessica Bowen, Director.

FLUTE ENSEMBLE
This ensemble is comprised of flute players who are intermediate to advanced musicians. They provide seasonal and classical music throughout the liturgical year, but especially during Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter.
Rehearsal dates and times tend to vary depending upon the time year.  For more information, please contact Mary Norris, Director.
