Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.
For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds,
and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8

GOOD SHEPHERD GIVES:
STEWARDSHIP SEASON 2020-2021
God, how am I to live in this season? How am I to care for the people around me, both friend and stranger?
How, at a time of such personal and public anxiety, are you inviting and equipping me to bear your abundant love to the world?
STEWARDSHIP SEASON 2020-2021
God, how am I to live in this season? How am I to care for the people around me, both friend and stranger?

AN INVITATION FROM
THE RECTOR I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones as well as possible during this season of ongoing change and challenge. Over the past months, our patterns of living have continued to shift–from global rhythms of travel and commerce to weekly routines such as how we buy our groceries or how we go to church. |
As has been the ongoing theme of 2020,
we're coming into this year's Stewardship Season trying out new ways of getting the word out in a year for which there really are no rubrics. Since we can't gather for our typical Stewardship Season forums and fellowship offerings, we decided we'd bring Stewardship Season to you in a series of vignettes, visits and lessons. These have been coming to you each week at the top of our online Sunday worship service and in our weekly newsletter. And if you missed those, don't fret. We have them all curated and boxed up nicely for you in a new playlist on our parish YouTube channel. You can get there by starting with the video below, or click the button below it to head directly over to the full playlist now. Dear Members of the Church of the Good Shepherd,
We hope you are faring well during this on-going pandemic. Last week’s stewardship message from our Rector discussed how God’s abundant love resides within us, even during the bleakest of times. Rev. Imogen Rhodenhiser’s letter also reminds us that while the coronavirus may have bent the bonds of our friendship and love, it has not broken them – and asks that we reflect on what God is calling us to do. Scenes from our "Drive-Thru STEW" event a new spin on a beloved Good Shepherd Commitment Sunday tradition. |
