Sunday Offerings
September & October 2022

Newcomer's Class (in person)
Are you a newcomer to Good Shepherd? Want to learn more about the church? A newcomers’ class will be offered over three Sundays, beginning September 18th from 9:00-10:00am in the small parlor (first floor) of the Parish Life Center.  
Finding Common Ground - How to Have Difficult Discussions (in person) 
This
 adult forum series that seeks to empower people to have conversations that are sometimes hard to have, beginning September 18th from 9:00-10:00am in the large Ennis Parlor (first floor) of the Parish Life Center. How should we, then, as Christians, approach situations in which we inevitably will hold different opinions? In this forum series, we will talk about why we have difficult discussions, and provide in a safe space to practice the art of disagreement.
Bible Study (in person) 
This
 bible study, beginning September 25th from 9:00-10:00am in Room 304 (third floor) of the Parish Life Center, will begin with Philippians. It is very positive and uplifting in a very difficult period of Paul's life.
Each Other's Keeper (in person) 
Beginning October 9th from 9:00-10:00am in the large Ennis Parlor (first floor) of the Parish Life Center, this six-part series designed by The Rev. Marc D. Smith, Ph.D. Bishop’s Deputy for Gun Violence Prevention in the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri explores different ways that violence presents itself.
Communicable Diseases: Cold & Flu (in person) 
Offered October 23rd from 9:00-10:00am in the small parlor (first floor) of the Parish Life Center. Our Parish Nurse, Tristan Carpenter, will present a series of public health topics, beginning with information on Communicable Diseases.
Quarterly Forum With Clergy (in person) 
Offered October 23rd from 9:00-10:00am in the large Ennis Parlor (first floor) of the Parish Life Center. This Forum will provide a venue for parishioners to ask questions and explore ideas in an informal, information setting.

Mid-Week Offerings
Offered every Tuesday & Wednesday 2022

The Rev. Nancy Allison leads the Tuesday morning group in lively discussions on biblical texts.
Tuesday Bible Study (in person)
The Tuesday Bible Study is a lively inter-generational group for fellowship and study of Scripture. It began as a women's group, but has since grown to cross gender lines. ALL are welcome!

To ensure easy access for all who wish to participate, the group meets twice each Tuesday during the program year, and you may attend one or both meetings each week.

Morning Meeting: 10:30 am in The Ennis Parlor
Evening Meeting: 5:45  pm at Rev. Nancy's Home 
Wednesday Morning Bible Study (in person and online)

This Bible study meets from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. every Wednesday morning for a time of fellowship, singing, Bible study, and prayer.

​Revised Common Lectionary Bible Study – the readings for the coming Sunday are read and discussed and there is a hymn sing at the end.
