Supper Clubs

Good Shepherd has a strong tradition of supper clubs that meet regularly in members' homes.  These informal gatherings usually meet monthly and consist of a potluck meal and lots of fellowship. While some of the groups may be targeted to different age ranges, all are welcome at any event.  We have several parishioners who enjoying 'roaming' among the different groups to get a full experience of the diversity of our parish.

Amazing Grace - Meets monthly, except for April (Pig Pickin') and November (Oyster/Shrimp Roast) in individual's homes for a covered dish supper. The group is composed of singles and couples.  Ages range from the early 30's to 65+.  Contact Fyl Thompson at 676-3494.

Families with Young Children - Casual, informal gathering of parents and their children. Those with infants, toddlers, and younger kids up to school age are encouraged to check us out and bring the kids. Meal-time event centers around a fun-filled gathering.  Covered dish and/or cookout is the norm when we meet every other month at a convenient, child-friendly location such as a city park.  Call Christa Tyler at 387-1407.

Grateful Bread - Targeted to those in their 40's and 50's and inviting everyone.  Contact Becky Campion at 233-8844. 

Out & About - Supper Club for the gay and lesbian community and friends. No age limits. Meets the third Sunday night of each month in a members home.  Contact Chris Yetter at 828-3510.
