Graduating in 2010…

Max Abbushi will graduate from Needham B. Broughton High School. He plans to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, majoring in music composition.



Elizabeth Curry will be attending UNC-Charlotte in the fall. She was awarded the Broughton Faculty Alumni Scholarship and will be majoring in Elementary Education.



Nathaniel James Bartlett, grandson of Deanne Thurber, is graduating June 9th from Athens Drive High School. He will be attending East Carolina University in Greenville this fall.



Thomas Robert Bartlett, grandson of Deanne Thurber, graduated May 15th from NC State with a degree in civil engineering. He hopes to continue in graduate school at State this fall.



Bo Davis recently graduated from Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a minor in accounting.



Jessie DeShong recently graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interior Design. For four years she marched in the "Pride of the Mountains" marching band which won the Sudler Trophy in 2009, and she also participated in the "Cathouse Pep Band" for two years. She is a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota, and is in Raleigh seeking a job in the design field.



Kelsey Blair Gauger will graduate from Cary Academy High School on May 22. She plans to attend Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts this fall.



Elizabeth Chambers Gilliam graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on May 9 with a B.A. in International Studies, a B.A. in German and a Minor in Entrepreneurship.

 



Kelsey Light will graduate from Garner Magnet High School and plans to attend East Carolina University in the fall.



Caroline Pasi graduates from St. David’s School this spring and plans to attend the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in the fall.



Elizabeth Pasi recently graduated from Meredith College with a degree in Interpersonal Communications.



Martin E. Sullivan, the son of Marguerite and Terry Sullivan, will receive a J.D. degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles on May 14. Martin will take the California State Bar this summer.



Erin Sullivan Torday, the daughter of Marguerite and Terry Sullivan, will receive an M.D. degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia on May 21. She will start a residency in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania on June 1.



Karla Joy Towle is graduating from Cary High School on June 11 and, after a summer spent working as a junior counselor at Camp Seafarer, will enter the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall. She plans to major in photojournalism.
