When: Friday, October 22, 2010, 6:15pm
Where: Duncan-Giersch Parish Life Center - Shepherd's Hall
Who: All-parish event. There will be something for everyone.
Why: Food, fellowship, funds to benefit the mission and ministry of the church. This year, proceeds will go to:

  • Outside of parish:
    • 15% - Filling in the Gaps (FIGS) (local)
    • 15% - the Lex Mathews Scholarship (diocese wide)
    • 15% - the ECW Missionary Christmas Fund (international)
  • In parish:
    • 45% - first $1000 to Vacation Bible School 2011 and remainder to The Capital Campaign
    • 10% - ECW project seed money
Raffle: A big part of the fun at the ECW Awesome Auction will be raffles for:

  • Amazon Kindle - $10 / ticket
  • $50 Target Gift Certificate - $2 / ticket
  • 1 of 4 Sunday Parking Spaces - $1 / ticket
    We will draw four tickets, one for each of the fall months, to have your own Sunday parking spot in the back parking lot.

Tickets for chances will be sold immediately after the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services up to the week of the auction. You don't need to be present at the drawing to win.

Schedule:
6:15 p.m.   Doors open for silent auction bids
6:30 p.m.   Chili dinner (no set charge, donations gladly accepted)

Menu:
red meat, vegetarian and chicken or turkey chilis
macaroni and cheese
salad
bread
assorted cold beverages
desserts

7:15 p.m.- until   Live auction begins - come watch Buck Lattimore in auctioneer action
Silent auction and raffle winners announced at end of live auction

Got stuff? The auction committee appreciates the items already donated for the silent and live auctions.

Sealed bids: If you can't make it to the auction, sealed bids will be accepted until noon, Friday, October 22. You may submit a bid to in person or by email to Kathy MacLeod 787-7012 / . Make sure to note the item you're after and the maximum amount you're willing to pay.

Baby-sitting: Provided by EYC starting at 6:15 p.m.
