Dear Fellow Parishioners,

The Good Shepherd invites each of us to enter into his presence. Let us enter with thanksgiving and praise, giving from all that we have and all that we are for his greater glory. The Good Shepherd invites each of us to enter into his presence. Let us enter with thanksgiving and praise, giving from all that we have and all that we are for his greater glory. Our theme for this year's annual giving: Genuine Living, Generous Giving, God Experiencing! reflects how we at The Church of the Good Shepherd view our relationship with God in our daily lives. We know that even in the midst of chaos, God is still with us, and He will guide us no matter what issues may threaten us.

We live our lives genuinely when we accept and live into the fact that all that we are, all that we have, and all that we ever will be is a gift from God. We experience God in everything we do. Here at Good Shepherd, we nurture that relationship through worship, teaching, praying, formation and outreach. And in response to this experience, we give generously through our praise of God's Holy Name and in the offering of our time, talent and treasure to the building up of God's kingdom.

This is the time of year when we ask you to prayerfully consider your financial support of your church in the coming year. This brochure will provide you with some information about how your pledge dollars support the church and give you some guidance as you consider your pledge.

The Sanctuary and The Parish Life CenterThe Sanctuary and The Parish Life CenterGood Shepherd has truly experienced the power of the Holy Spirit this year. Our first international adult mission trip, a major capital campaign, the addition of Miriam Saxon to expand senior ministry, and a continuously thriving children's ministry are just a few of the areas where God has been at work here. We give thanks for all that we have been able to accomplish this year and know that with your support we can continue to expand Good Shepherd's ministries next year.

Currently, about 30% of the congregation makes an annual pledge. We are so grateful for those who faithfully support the church each year. If you are not currently pledging, please join those of us who are. The chart on page 4 shows that by giving just a few dollars every week, you can be an important part of what we are doing. If you are pledging, please consider increasing your annual giving one or two steps as shown on the chart on page four of this brochure. No gift is too small and all gifts are appreciated. We look forward to receiving your pledge card on or before Pledge Sunday, November 16.

Faithfully,
