In the coming weeks Lisa Towle, a parishioner of CGS as well as a member of the North Carolina-Botswana Companion Link Committee, will share information about what this means, about the Anglican Diocese of Botswana and the country itself with the people of the Church of the Good Shepherd through The Shepherd's Staff, our parish newsletter. The Center Campaign

As we are sure you're all aware, our Center Campaign goal is $2,000,000. We're pleased to say that we've now surpassed $1,650,000 from 81 parishioners. Many of you have been contacted in person or by phone by our Steering Committee members, and we appreciate your willingness to listen to their message.

We would like to sincerely thank all who have already pledged, as well as all who have encouraged others to support this campaign. We recognize that our giving to God is a very private and personal matter between us and Him. Discuss it with Him often, and thank Him for the privilege of giving. Make giving an act of the heart, done with great love and joy.

Remember that no amount is too small and the term of payment is three years. Please prayerfully consider how you can support our Parish Life Center and God's work. Please try to make your own commitment and turn in your Letter of Intent by Sunday, September 28.

In Christ's Name,
Nan & Jack Boyne
