We've been invited to join a Warmth for Wake work session on February 11 from 8:30am-12pm. Volunteers will split, collect and deliver wood to neighbors who use fireplaces and wood burning stoves to heat their homes. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Michelle Bullock.

EYC Family/Volunteers Potluck on February 12 after 10:30am Service

We will have a covered dish potluck lunch for all EYC youth, families and volunteers after the 10:30am service. After lunch, the youth and younger siblings will head downstairs for a group activity and a movie, while the adults stay upstairs for a meeting. We will be looking for more volunteers to help us on Sunday nights and during special events, so adults, please come with your calendar in mind. *EYC starts early that night; youth may bring a change of clothes and stay at church for a movie and games until Parents Night Out begins.

EYC Hosts Parents' Night Out on February 12

Volunteer with Passage Home

Passage Home, a non-profit dedicated to ending poverty and homelessness in Wake County, would like Church of the Good Shepherd to partner with them to provide after school tutors, mentors and a hot meal for school aged children and teenagers on Monday afternoons. Other opportunities to work with Passage Home (community garden, big brother golf program, etc.) are also in the works. Training will be provided on February 13. If you are interested, please contact Michelle Bullock.

Youth who can mentor/tutor other youth and adults or youth who can speak spanish are particularly needed.
