CGS Homecoming 2010

CGS Homecoming 2010 at Lake Wheeler Park, 6404 Lake Wheeler Road (5 miles south of I-440)

  • Saturday, September 11, 2010, 11AM - 2PM
  • Park open until 7PM for those who want to stay longer
  • Bring your lawn chair of choice, a side dish and/or dessert to feed your family + two more people
  • NO alcohol please
  • Cost:  $5 per person ages 10 and up; $15 for a family ticket (2 adults & children 10 - 18 years old)

Purchased tickets will be essential so that we have enough chicken for everyone.  Tickets will be on sale at the coffee social after the 8AM service AND at the iced tea fellowship after the 10:30AM service on TWO Sundays -- August 29 & September 5.

What Is Provided:

  1. FOOD: Fried and roasted chicken, sweet and unsweetened tea, lemonade & water
  2. AMMENITIES: 2 HUGE picnic shelters, big bathroom between the picnic shelters with men's and women's facilities, plenty of parking
  3. ACTIVITIES: Craft project for the kids, talent show for all (acoustic - no electricity - please call Jennifer Seiger to signup), wiffle ball, sand volleyball, playground for the kids, open area for play, short hiking trails
