Announcing a Women's Retreat During Lent

Rev. Jean Parker VailThere will be a women's overnight retreat beginning around 5:00pm on Friday, March 2 and ending mid-afternoon on Saturday, March 3.  This retreat will be limited to 16 participants and will be held at Cedar Cross Retreat Center, just outside of Louisburg.  The cost of the retreat will be $100 per person, and scholarships will be available if needed.  Please register and turn in fees to Miriam Saxon by Sunday, February 12. 

I am delighted that the retreat leader will be the Rev. Jean Parker Vail.  Jean is a spiritual director and has extensive past experience working in parishes, at the Chicago cathedral, and at Seabury-Western Theological Seminary.  She will offer three meditations, focused upon women in the Bible.  The retreat will also include some times of silence and personal reflection, as well as a rhythm of worship throughout our time together.
